My Journey
Family Constellation Work
My name is Margot Gwin, and I first experienced Family Constellation work in 1999 in Pasadena, California. At that time, issues of disconnection and exclusion felt overwhelming. For several years, I participated in many group constellations, which opened a deeper connection with my soul self, my ancestors, and my fellow humans. Over the next 25 years, I explored various methods of healing to continue this process. I have found that Family Constellation is a potent way to address hidden areas of 'stuckness' in our lineage and allow for even deeper healing and self expression.
My Background & Specialties
I am retired from a 25-year career as a Licensed Massage Therapist, having trained in Body/Mind Integrative Therapy at the Somatic Therapy Institute in Santa Fe, NM in 1990. I am a graduate of the Hakomi Psychotherapy program in Santa Fe, NM from 1991-92 and am certified in WaveMaker Life Coaching in Palm Springs, CA in 2004.
I have navigated the challenges of a dysfunctional family system, including family suicide loss and mental illness, and experiences of narcissistic and cult abuse. My journey has also included addressing acute physical pain issues, all of which has motivated my exploration of the healing power of the Unified Field of consciousness.
As a Family Constellation Facilitator, I graduated from the full training for group facilitation and the 1:1 training, both taught by Leslie Nipps, and am certified in Family Constellation Facilitation.
My home is on a family compound in the beautiful countryside outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. I practice meditation and writing daily, surrounded by loving family, a supportive community, animals, and wild, beautiful Nature.
